Buying Guide:
Self-Powered Woodstove Fans

Since there is now more than two models to choose from, we felt that it was necessary to create this page to help you decide which one is best for you. You will want to consider the room, or even building that the fan will be servicing, along with the type of stove you are using, its typical operating temperature, and of course the price of the fan. Let us know if we can help.

Fans for woodstove inserts are a common question, and unless some sort of 'hot shelf' can be designed for them that reaches the minimum start-up temperature easily and provides for air flow, users are limited to using the blowers designed within these stoves & fireplaces.
