How they work...
The patented Aquaclip is the key to all Aquapacs. An amazing little clamp which hermetically seals the case with a simple twist of a lever. When you open an Aquapac everything stays in one piece. No folding the case over. No loose screws. Simple.
Aquapac cases feature durable vinyl construction using materials that permit devices to operate normally through the case. Talk on your cell phone, walkie-talkie or VHF radio normally. Use your personal digital assiatant stylus, and take clear photos and video through the case! Aquapac's pass-through technology on selected models even allows a headphone wire for your CD player, or your phone's hands-free microphone to be available externally, while the electronics stay safe inside.
Tested to Destruction...
Aquaclips are made entirely of light, injection-moulded plastic. So they can’t rust. The Aquaclip has passed the two most demanding of all waterproofing standards – IP67 and IP68. Bath Universtity successfully tested the lever mechanism for 10,000 cycles of opening and closing with no loss of function.
All cases are batch tested during production. The cases are submersed in a water tank at 1 bar = 10 metres/33 feet for 5 minutes. The smallest cases have passed 30 minutes at 40 meters (131 feet)!
Aquapac is ISO9002-registered which means that manufacturing is subject to rigorous international quality control procedures and regular inspections by National Quality Assurance inspectors. Aquapac was honoured with the Queen’s Award for Exports 1998.

 The Aquaclip was recently awarded Millennium Product Status by the British Design Council. This was a government initiative to recognise "one of the most innovative products created in Britain for the new Millennium".
