Braille Compass
Navigation aid for the Visually Impaired
by Brunton (16B)
A unique invention designed in cooperation with organizations for the visually impaired in the USA, Sweden, and Canada.
Dial graduations are raised for touch orientation with North as an Arrow, East, South and West by Braille letters. Inter-cardinal points are shown with raised dots. Simply point the compass in the desired direction, open the lid to freeze the dial, and then read your bearing.
A great tool for getting around new cities and towns.
