The Eclipse system
The 8099 Pro features our Eclipse® circle-over-circle alignment system, that eliminates the magnetic needle. Simply align the two circles for accurate bearings.
Dual cover assembly allows for quick one hand operation. Remove the protective rubber shoe and open the second cover for complete map work with the scaled base plate.
Pro extras
The 8099 Pro also features three clinometer systems, and a round bubble level adds the ability to acquire more accurate strike and dip measurements.
Peel back the durable rubber base to reveal our informational field reference cards. Attached with a lanyard, the quick reference cards contain compass instructions, a GPS coordinate finder, (UTM) and survival information.
