The backlighted digital display offers 1 degree resolution and the level bubble insures the ability to duplicate accurate readings time and again. Current heading is displayed in numerical digits and also as a cardinal direction. It also has an "off-course" indicator and can easily store one forward and one back bearing with a single button press.
The ability to change magnetic declination allows this precision instrument to be used anywhere in the world. Two detachable lanyards are provided for wrist & neck.
