The Sierra Saw features a tempered 18cm (7") flexible steel blade with a hard chrome plated finish that resists rusting. The blade locks open for safety, and folds neatly into the unbreakable handle.
The saw weighs only 155 g (5.5 oz), with a length of 40 cm (16") open, and 24 cm (9.5") closed. The saw cuts smoothly and cleanly, making it ideal for firewood, trimming branches, or dressing large game.
The Blade...
The blade is made from SK5 high carbon tool steel. Heat treated using a unique process, the blade remains flexible and resistant to bending or breaking. The blade is tapered from its top edge to the teeth resulting in less chance of binding, and a nice smooth cut.
The blade's teeth are pitched to 2.25mm and ground to knife edge sharpness and will never need resharpening in normal use. For safety, the saw cuts on the pull stroke.
