The Ranger self-sufficient AM/FM radio promises assured listening, anytime, anywhere. Offering a choice of wind-up, solar and rechargeable power, the Ranger incorporates the latest in Freeplay's direct charge technology (AC/DC adaptor is also included).
The Freeplay Ranger plays for approximately 35 minutes per 30-second wind of the charger handle, and can be re-wound at any time for continuous play. In direct sunlight the Ranger will charge itself via its integrated solar panel, and will play continuously without winding.
The internal memory-free NiMH battery can be fully charged from the solar panel or the AC/DC adapter. The Freeplay Ranger will give 25 hours playtime, depending on volume, when fully charged.
