Vortex Dynamo Blender
The powerful hand crank blender

As seen on the Ellen DeGeneres Show...
Yes, we are the guys who introduced Ellen to the Vortex Blender.
We were told that Ellen was concerned that she would not be able to mix her margaritas if the power went out, so we decided to send her a Vortex to ease her worries. She demonstrated the unit on her show (5/5/06), and then awarded it to a lucky audience member. Stars like Ellen are learning that there are innovative new ways to live well anywhere...
Welcome to the Modern Outpost Ellen!
The Vortex dynamo blender is a powerful non-electric blender for outdoor socials. A fantastic innovation for cabin or cottage owners, or for family camping trips and tailgate parties.
Requiring no electricity, the Vortex blender is your drink mixer or food processor where power is not available. Features include a rock solid, full-size 48oz (1.5L) lexan pitcher with twist-lock sealed lid, shot cap, and twist-lock base.
Mechanical features include a two-speed dynamo handle, rubber feet and 'C' table clamp for stability. The powerful two-speed gear system drives the exclusive stainless steel blades. The Vortex crushes ice to a ultrafine consistency, or works just as well as a portable food processor. The Vortex's base nests inside the pitcher for reducing space while travelling.
