The compact solar power solution for small electronics
The iSun is the most complete solar charger for small electronics on the market toay. It comes complete with a selection of 7 plugging accessories that will enable you to run over 90% of all small electronics. Its unique fold-out design makes it small, lightweight, and easy to take anywhere.
The iSun can run small electronics requiring less than 2 watts of power: Discmans, GPS, MP3 players, Walkmans, PDAs, and cell phones. It can also help run any small electronics over 2 watts by connecting multiple iSun units together to multiply the power.
The iSun charges even in partial daylight. It can charge rechargeable batteries in 2-8 hours depending on the amount of sunlight and the capacity of the battery (usually between 1100mA and 2500mA).
How do I use the iSun?
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.
1) Of the 7 adapter plugs included with iSun, choose the plug that best fits your electronic's power input and connect it to the iSun power cable.
2) Remove the cap on the right side of the iSun and connect the power cable to the iSun output.

Need more power?
Just add another iSun, and another, and another...
1) It is possible for you to connect multiple iSun units together for added power. There are 3 things to look for: First, the rubber cap on the left side of the iSun; second the sliding switch found underneath the iSun near the rubber cap; and lastly the fitting groove found on the iSun's sides.
2) Remove the rubber cap and slide the switch uncovering the male plug.
3) Align the 2 iSun units side by side. Connect the male plug from the first iSun into the female socket of the second one and fill the 2 grooves together. You have now doubled your power. Repeat as necessary (up to 5 times).
Frquently Asked Questions...
Q: Can the iSun drain my battery at night?
A: No. The iSun has a built-in diode for reverse current protection.
Q: Can my iSun be left outdoors without a protective covering?
A: Yes. The iSun is weatherproofed and may be left outdoors. However, the iSun is not "waterproof" and should be brought indoors in the event of rain or snow.
Q: Can I charge more than one battery at a time with the iSun?
A: Yes. For example, the charge can be applied to a bank of small AA batteries. When connected to a bank of 2 or more batteries, the total power input will be divided into that number of batteries. The higher the number of batteries, the longer it will take to recharge the battery bank.
Q: What happens if i use the wrong polarity?
A: No charging will occur.
Q: What do I do if none of the plugs work for my appliance?
A: New adapter plugs are being made available. Check with Modern outpost for availability.
