The KA1121 is a professional quality radio comes with a fantastic set of features, including multi band receiver (AM, FM, SW, & more), plus integrated & detachable MP3 player/recorder. Single Side Band and dual conversion technology bring this radio to the highest standards of the industry, with reception & clarity comparable with any other compact multi-band receiver. Add to that an integrated MP3 player & recorder that not only allows you to play your favourite tunes through the radio speaker or headphones anywhere you take the radio, but also to record any radio programs you like to listen to.
The MP3 player easily detaches from the main unit, and is nice & small for taking with you. It has it's own battery, but draws power from the radio when docked. At 256MB, the player can hold approximately 10 hours of recording.
Use the line-in cable to connect any other audio device to the radio such as your home stereo, or iPod.
The smart rechargeable system can charge the NiMh batteries for both the radio and the MP3 player. Simply put the radio into 'charging' mode while it is plugged into the wall, and your 'AA' NiMh batteries will be fully charged for the next time you take the radio out.
The complete KA-1121 kit comes with radio, MP3 player, wire antenna, USB cable, line in/out cable, earbud headphones, & carry bag.
