The unit features programmable alarm functions to warn of specific weather conditions, plus all minimum & maximum readings are recorded along with the time and date of the reading. All sensor data can be displayed in imperial or metric units. The barometer also offers relative & absolute values, & the wind gauge can be set for any of 5 units including knots & Beauforts. The windspeed display is calibrated to provide the compass heading along with cardinal direction references.
Complete Kits...
Each kit includes outdoor temperature & humidity sensors, wind gauge, & rain gauge. The system is very easy to set-up using included hardware, and can be operational in a matter of minutes. All remote sensors are wired together through the thermo-hygrometer unit which acts as the central remote transmitter to the base station. Each sensor also draws power from the thermo-hygrometer unit which is powered by battery or AC adaptor. The transmission range of the system is up to 80 feet depending on obstructions.
PC Interface...
Also included is a PC interface cable and "Heavy Weather" software for further recording and analysis using your computer. All the weather data from the base station & up to 175 sets of weather history data with user adjustable measuring intervals can be recorded & uploaded to your PC.
