What's so special?

Start with 4 independent channels to care for 1-4 batteries individually.

Add 4 Function modes that can be applied to each channel separately. These modes include...
1. Charge...
Recharges the battery at the selected rate. Suitable for batteries used frequently.

2. Refresh & Analyze...
Charges the battery, rest for one hour, discharge, rest again, then recharges it. Selectable charging and discharging rate. Suitable for batteries stored for more than two weeks but less than 3 month or those showing poor performance.

3. Break-In...
Also known as IEC capacity measurement and "Battery Forming". Charges battery at 0.1C for 16 hours, rest for one hour, discharges battery at 0.2C, then recharges again at 0.1C for 16 hours. Suitable for new batteries and those stored for more than 3 month.

4. Discharge...
Discharges the battery at the selected rate.

5. Cycle...
Performs charge-discharge cycle for up to 12 times with discharge capacity stored in memory. Recharges battery after final cycle.

A large backlit LCD display with easy to read characters & icons completes this outstanding charger package.

You are in full control...
There are 29 selectable charging and discharging rates. Charging current from 0.2A to 2.0A and discharging current from 0.1A to 1.0A in 0.1A increments.
Using the analyze & Break-In modes allows you to perform battery matching & battery forming functions, which help to prolong the life of your batteries, and optimize the performance of the equipment you use them in.

Think that $30 "Quick Charger" you saw at the big box store can do the job? Think again...

They call it a quick charger, because it is designed to cram as much current into your batteries as possible before timing out, ignoring things like battery overheating which can result in overcharging & gassing due to chemical instability. They also have no way of knowing if your batteries are 'full', because all they are monitoring is the rise in cell voltage, which is not accurate when charging at such high rates. They will charge until a timer tells them to stop, or the voltage rises to a certain point... that's it.
