The Deer Hunter's Edge is the ultimate hunting instrument. Not only does it provide valuable information about animal activity, but the Deer Hunter's Edge also features a digital compass, altimeter, weather forecast & more.
Wildlife scientists have documented daily activity patterns in a wide range of animals. Combined hormonal & environmental factors control a wide array of animal behavior. The environmental conditions affecting this behavior have been combined into a single algorithm used to determine optimal activity times, which are considered the best times to hunt. The factors used in the DeerHunter’s EGE were obtained through an extensive study of scientific literature, biologists, & seasoned hunters.
The Deer Hunter's Edge's digital barometer not only displays the current air pressure, but it is also the basis for the trend-based forecast that is 75% accurate for the following 12-20 hour period. A 16 hour pressure history is also displayed in a bar chart.
Other useful features include current moon phase, sunrise & sunset, & warning of approaching storms through an audible storm alarm.
Measurements are provided in both imperial & metric units, & the Deer Hunter's Edge is designed to operate anywhere in the world. Includes large backlit display, lithium batteries, & carry case.
