This is an amazing little 12V flashlight that packs a lot more features than first meets the eye. First, it charges from any 12V cigarette outlet like the one in your car or your solar power kit, and provides its own 12V socket so you do not lose your car outlet while it is charging.
It contains a memory-free NiMh battery that holds enough charge to run the LED flashlight for up to 12 hours. Plus, away from your car you can use the light as a little back-up battery by plugging small electronics into the flashlight's socket in order to give them a quick charge (the 12V car adaptor for your device is required for this).
The LED flashlight itself is a 3-mode light featuring high, low, and blink operations. The unit flexes in the middle in order to act as a map or reading light while plugged-in, and also features a magnet for hands-free operation.

The 12V LED flashlight is recommended for people who do a lot of driving, and want a reliable flashlight for the car, truck or RV. The LED will never need replacing, providing up to 100,000 hours of service (that's over 10 years if you were to leave it on continuously!).
