For our clients who need portable power that is easy to pack in to remote areas, the Auto Jumper is an excellent option. Providing 1.5 Amp-Hours from the NiCd battery, the Auto Jumper works well as a power reservoir between your rollable solar panel and small electronics.
Direct solar power is as unreliable as the weather, but the Auto Jumper stores enough power to make sure that your gear receives a constant charge. When the sun goes behind a cloud, or your panel cannot provide enough power, the Auto Jumper steps in to bridge the gap. See our application note on small portable power systems for more information.
The Auto Jumper features both a built-in 12V DC plug, and 12V DC socket, so it is easily connected to solar panels, vehicles, and inverters according to your needs.
