Low Power Draw

NOTE: Battery type compatibility...

DO NOT use any inverter with a lithium battery pack, unless specifically approved by the battery manufacturer. AC power inverters can draw too much power for the lithium chemistry to support, so to avoid the risk of battery failure, only use AC inverters with SLA/Gel lead-acid batteries as found in cars, boats, RVs, and home-based renewable power systems.
Most battery-based electronic equipment, such as laptops, notebooks, netbooks, MacBooks, iPads, iPods, battery chargers, and camera chargers, use DC power converted from your home AC wall socket. It is almost always possible to find a DC alternative power supply or cable connector for your device, so this should be explored prior to resorting to using an AC inverter. AC inverters are best suited for audio & medical equipment for which no DC option exists, and which rely on clean AC power for proper operation.
