Small & light

This generic NB-7L charger is small & light, and easy to pack along. The AC outlet prongs fold down, the unit is only about 2 x 2 x 3" in size, and weighs next to nothing.

Using with solar

Simply plug the NB-7L charger's cigarette adaptor into your solar panel, and place the panel in the sun. Note that for solar-direct use, a panel of 5 watts or more is recommended for reasonable charging times.

When you want to plug directly into a solar panel, we recommend using at least a 5 watt panel, with 14 watts closer to the ideal. You can use any panel you might have that offers a 12v CLA power socket outlet (like the socket in your car's dashboard).

Don't want to be at the mercy of the sun? Simply put a battery pack between the solar panel & this NB-7L charger. Using an intermediate battery pack will capture & store more of the solar power and allow the charger to operate at full speed whenever you need to use it... day or night.
