The Novuscell 50 has an 11V output port (works great with all 12V device car adaptors), and a 5V output port for connecting USB devices and other low voltage electronics. USB port & 12V CLA socket are included. The 5V port can also be switched to provide 8.4V when needed.

Using with camera battery chargers...

If you have a DC car charger for your camera battery, one that can plug into your car dashboard, then simply plug it into the Novuscell 50's 12V CLA socket and your charger will begin working.

There is also an 8.4V switch on the back of the Novuscell 50 which changes the output voltage of the 5V port to 8.4V. 8.4V is the correct voltage for charging 7.4V lithium battery packs, so instead of using the 12V car plug, you can use the Novuscell's little barrel connector cable to connect directly to the base of your DC battery charger. You can do this on the 11V port of theNovuscell too since your DC camera charger is able to work with up to 24V typically, but the 8.4V port will provide better performance.

Tablets, iPads, & Netbooks... YES.
Laptops... NO

The Novuscell 50 works great on any device needing 20 Watts or less. We've tested it with an ASUS netbook while the netbook was running, and although it was pushing the limit, it worked. We recommend connecting netbooks to the Novuscell 50 to recharge them while they are 'OFF'.
Also note that you will likely need a voltage adaptor for your particular netbook.
But, Notebooks & laptops are simply too power hungry.

What are the ideal solar panels to work with this battery pack?

The best match for most mobile applications will be a solar panel in the 20 Watt range. However, sometimes a smaller panel is all you need, and the additional battery storage is simply good insurance against bad weather.
