No special connectors or adaptors needed...

The Solaris-USB provides a standard USB port, with a regulated 5.5V output. Simply connect your phone, GPS, or PDA to the panel using your device's computer USB interface cable.

Can this panel charge AA/AAA batteries?

The Solaris-USB does not come with an AA/AAA charger, but will easily connect to USB chargers. Check out our chargers department for the latest models.

Is it a safe source of power?

The Solaris-USB provides a stable output voltage in a wide range of light conditions. The actual charging current will vary with the light intensity, and peaks at about 550mA, making the Solaris-USB one of the safest, and kindest charger your small electronics will ever know.
