The KA1103 can decode SSB Single Side Band broadcasts though it's SSB circuitry, 1 kHz tuning steps and clarifier. 268 memories can store your favorite stations. The KA1103 is built in the best radio factory in Asia, and is designed with exceptional sensitivity with minimized noise. The KA1103 uses dual conversion technology to provide great reception across the entire shortwave spectrum.

Extended FM Band

The KA1103 has a unique FM band, covering an extended range down to 76MHz. This enables the receiver to listen in on university campus radio stations that often operate at frequencies below the 88MHz lower limit of most receivers.

Built-In Battery Charger

Like other compact Kaito radios, the KA1103 has a built-in battery charger that is used to keep the four included NiMh rechargeable batteries in top shape. When you need to unplug, the radio is ready to go on battery power.

Choosing the KA1103

The KA1103 is great for those moving from an analog radio into the digital realm. The display is very unique, but provides a great visual representation of the tuning process. Still very compact, the KA1103 offers a larger speaker than is found on most compacts, and the tough radio chassis provides a very rich sound more indicative of larger radios.
