The next generation of Solaris foldable solar technology is here. CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide) is the most efficient thin film solar technology available. By maximizing performance while optimizing portability, it makes the Solaris 62 one of the most compact high output solar panels available. Compare against the PowerFilm 3600.
When you need to pack along power for larger demands, like laptops, audio, medical, & special research equipment, the Solaris 62 should be one of the solar panels at the top of your list.

The Solaris 62 provides a standard 12 volt socket like the one in your car. Use this to connect to battery packs & other 12V devices.
NOTE: For household AC power, like all other solar panels, the Solaris 62 will not run an AC inverter. A battery pack must be used to support the inverter's power draw.
Yes. The Solaris 62 does not come with an AA/AAA charger, but will easily connect to charger units that offer a 12V connection.
You can charge batteries direct from the panel with any charger that offers a DC car input plug (ie any charger that can plug into the dashboard of your car can plug into the Solaris. We like the products from Maha PowerEx, Ansmann, and PowerFilm.
Want to store the power you generate so that you can use it anytime, day or night? A solar storage battery pack is the answer. The right battery pack will also let your battery chargers operate at their normal speeds. See the list of recommended accessories on this page.
The Solaris 62 provides a stable output voltage in a wide range of light conditions. The actual charging current will vary with the light intensity, and peaks at about 3.2A.
