Why You Might Need Array Edge Screen…
This is an attractive system that mounts a mesh screen around the edge of a PV module array to protect from infiltration by pesky birds, rodents and debris. The mesh screen is vinyl-coated steel – rigid enough to keep out even the most industrious squirrel.
8″, 6″, or 4″ high mesh to best match the height of your modules off the roof deck. Available in 100′ rolls. The clips mount through the screen & hook to the underside flange of the module without any drilling. The black poly coated screen, and all the black hooks, offer a long lasting protective solution as well as creating a clean visual aesthetic.
Easy Installation…
Installs on perimeter of solar array between solar panels and the roof.
The clips attach to the bottom flange of the module frame and hook the screen into place. You are free to adjust the height of the screen by approximately 1″ (ie the module frame height) so that it remains below the face of the solar modules, and yet reaches to the roof deck. Cut a couple of mesh squares at the bottom to make a neat bend when you come to inside and outside corners.
Module Clips spaced every 2-4 feet will provide a protective barrier to guard against animals and debris. Be sure to place clips within 6″ of corners in order to provide a robust fit.
Screens can be trimmed to required height and length with common wire cutters.

What if my modules don’t have a standard frame?
The box frame adaptor allows for mounting on module frames that lack a flange to mount to (1 per clip). Call us if you need this solution.
