Product Description

The GP-FLEX-55E is a 55W Flexible Solar Panel by Go Power. This an expansion kit for the Solar Flex 55W kit, but can be used on its own, and makes a great solar solution for any boat, RV, truck, or van. Leading semi-flexible high-efficiency monocrystalline solar modules mean simplified installation, great aesthetics, with a low-profile solution that fits. This expansion module plugs in parallel to your existing SolarFlex panels using the included connectors.

This module is a part of the Go Power! Flex 55 Kit, which you can view HERE ¹.

A leading choice for boats, yachts, RVs, Sprinter Vans, and truck conversions. Simple to install, simple to maintain, low profile, and high efficiency on par with large rooftop panels. But these panels are different... they adhere directly to the roof surface, and conform to gentle curves up to a 30 degree bend. The panels are only 3 mm thick, making them easy to install. A thin, lightweight design provides a low profile, which is aesthetically pleasing and more aerodynamic that traditional rigid solar modules.

So, leave out the custom racking, clunky large framed modules, and wiring challenges and use Solar Flex to increase your solar-powered independence.

An impermeable lamination coats the entire Solar Flex™ module, allowing it to contour and flex against curved surfaces, eliminating any need for custom mounts. The panel can be affixed by adhesive or screws, and grommets are provided for ease of installation.

GP-FLEX-55E Key benefits:

• Avoids custom mounts (100 and 50 watt modules curve up to 30 degrees)
• Can be affixed with adhesive or screws
• Has a durable surface
• Measures less than 1/8” (3 mm) thick
• Is ideal for lightweight RVs (modules are 82% lighter)
• 5-year solar module power output warranty

Sealant/adhesive required will depend on roof membrane material and is not included in the Solar Flex kit. Use an appropriate sealant as recommended by your RV dealer or manufacturer.

GP-FLEX-55E Kit Includes:

• 50 watts / 2.88 amps solar charging kit
• MC4 parallel branch connectors (pair)
