The advantages over standard AGM include long cycle life and significantly reduced battery sulfation.

Lead-Carbon battery technology improves the charge and discharge speed, while greatly prolonging battery life. Expect more than 2,000 cycles at 80 % DOD. The HC series are ideal for cycling and partial state of charge (PSOC) applications like solar. And unlike Lithium, lead-carbon batteries can charge well below 0C temperatures without any integrated heating systems that leech energy from your system.
