MN3024DIY Operating Modes

PV Priority Charging :
Uses the solar to charge the battery and power the inverter. The unit will access the grid only when the PV is not available (ie at night).

Grid Priority Charging :
Uses the grid, with the PV acting as the emergency back-up source of energy.

Hybrid Charging :
PV is set as the priority source, with the grid stepping-in when the PV falls behind.

Solar PV Only Charging :
Uses on the Solar PV input for battery charging.

PV Priority Output :
Uses the inverter/battery/PV combination to power all loads. The grid is accessed when the solar is not keeping-up.

Grid Priority Output :
Acting as a 3.5kW UPS system, grid power is passed through to loads. The inverter will operate in charging mode to keep the battery topped-up until such time as there is a grid power outage. Then the unit switches to inverter/battery power.

Inverter Priority Output :
This output mode will power all loads from the inverter/battery/PV, and will switch to grid pass-through/charging as a back-up only if the battery SoC falls to a prescribed level.
