The side mounted red backlit circuit breaker switch is rated at 15 amps maximum and turns power on/off to the blue digital voltmeter, (2) USB fast QC3.0 charging ports, and the automotive 12V socket.
NOTE: The voltmeter and USB charger draw a small parasitic load on the battery even when not in use, so be sure to turn the switch 'off' when not in use.

High Current DC (non-switched)
(2) Anderson Powerpole connectors, compatible with the PP15/30/45 series, provide high current DC output, wired directly to the battery and protected by an inline fuse.

Built-in LED Worklight
LED worklight with dedicated on/off button. Works as a powerful and portable flashlight.

Using Your PWRbox 10 With Solar

The PWRbox 10 comes with a wall charger so you can charge it up from any wall outlet in your home, or a generator.
But how do you plug a solar panel into it?
Easy!
The LFP battery in the PWRbox requires a solar charge controller designed for Lithium, and the maximum recommended input to the battery is 50W (between 4A @ 14.6V).
Here are your leading options for solar panels & charge controllers...

Now, it will become clear to you when reviewing these options, that connector formats differ between solar panels, charge controllers, and ultimately they need to plug into the PWRbox's Anderson APP15/30/45 port.
Don't worry!
We have all the connectors and extension wire you might need, and we do this type of consulting work every day.
Either send us a note via EMAIL ⁸ with your desired system notes, or place an order for the panel and controller you like, and include some notes as to how you need it to come together. Use a offline payment method so you don't pay now. We will consult with you, and then will assemble the parts you need.

A Quick Word About Airlines...

The maximum lithium battery capacity you can carry-on a flight is 100Wh, so at 120Wh, the PWRbox MINI 10 will require special handling. Consult with your airline.

If you'd like to reduce the battery capacity to less than 100Wh so you can carry the battery on a flight, let us know. We have several battery sizes that can fit the PWRbox case.
We have also built custom power boxes using Nanuk cases ⁹ for Parks Canada with a completely different set of ports than those featured on the PWRbox.
