Description

This EN-EL9 USB DC charger is small & light, and easy to pack along. The charger comes with a MicroUSB input cable, and the unit is only about 3 x 2 x 1″ in size, and weighs next to nothing.

Using with solar

Simply plug the charger’s USB cable into your USB solar panel, and place the panel in the sun. Note that for solar-direct use, a panel of 5 watts or more is recommended for reasonable charging times.

For best results, place a solar storage battery between the solar panel & the charger – this will will result in faster charging than via solar direct due to the charger being able to operate at full design specification, and not being at the mercy of sunlight from moment to moment.
