1. They must participate in 3rd party reliability testing.
Often referred to as randomized HALT testing, a 3rd party standards lab will take a module off the assembly line at random and run it through ‘Highly Accelerated Life Testing’. Through this testing, the module is subjected to repeated extremes in temperatures, humidity, physical stresses, and more. Not only must the brands we carry participate, but we look for ‘Top Performer’ status.

2. Commitment to responsible manufacturing
The SVTC Solar Scorecard was the original attempt to rank manufacturers according to their commitments to ethical labour practices, recycling, waste reduction, and more. Here is a link to the last published ScoreCard for your reference: 2018-19 SVTC Solar Scorecard.
