Our thin film solar voltage booster cable is designed to bring the output voltage of thin film solar modules such as Powerfilm & P3 up to 20V for optimum charging of many popular portable battery packs.

Supporting Powerfilm Solar

Powerfilm solar modules have a nominal output voltage of 15.4V DC. This is near the bottom-end of the input voltage range of many battery packs such as the Goal Zero Sherpa 100AC, Sherpa 100PD, the Voltaic V88, and the Power Traveller Mini-G. It also works with Goal Zero Yeti battery packs (see adaptors & connectors below).
This Voltage Booster cable will bring your Powerfilm’s voltage up to 20V, thereby allowing your battery pack to charge normally.

This Solar Voltage Booster Cable can be ordered with the following options… please specify when ordering.

Input: Powerfilm (weatherpack) > Output: 5.5×2.1mm coaxial barrel
this option connects to V88 & Mini-G directly
add the ‘K’ Connector to connect to Goal Zero batteries
Input: Powerfilm (weatherpack) > Output: Anderson Power Pole
this option works great for integration with Goal Zero Yeti’s
Input: SAE > Output: 5.5×2.1mm coaxial barrel
