Each Paper Mill kit includes traditional wooden paper mould & deckle made from solid westcoast Fir, blotter sheets, sponge, potpourri packet, and 12 page instruction booklet. You supply your own blender for pulping, dipping pans, and of course waste paper.
Three Paper Mill kits are available to match your projects. Our basic 5x7 kit is perfect for making notepaper and natural cardstock for greeting cards, our large letter size kit for making standard 8.5 x 11" sheets. And our combo kit for those who can't decide, which features both frame sizes in one box.

Create a slurry of paper pulp by soaking waste paper and running it through your blender. Put the watery pulp in a dish tub, and add other materials like string, dryer lint, or flower petals and small leaves to the mixture.
Screening...
Dip the deckle and mould frame set into the pulp and let the water drain through to leave paper fiber on the screened surface.
Drying...
The final steps involve sponging excess water from the paper, transferring it to the blotter, and then pressing it and drying it in the open air or ironing it flat.
The included booklet contains complete instructions along with lots of photos to help you get started.
